The Role: Oracle Applications Developer

Join the Database Development team and work in a large-scale environment where we never lack for new and challenging projects. Your responsibilities will include developing and supporting projects based on Oracle Applications (EBS) using Oracle forms, reports, and interfaces. This includes developing new projects based on incremental software development methodology and test-driven development.


  • Analyze, design, and support end-to-end cost-effective business solutions
  • Responsible for various stages of the Software Developing Life Cycle
  • Involved in the preparation of technical design documents
  • Provide training and user support for various systems
  • Develop solutions for Oracle applications functionality for the Financials and Management areas and suggest process improvements
  • Lead functional/technical review sessions for requirement review and understanding
  • Use tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, and ADI to enhance functionality and user experience
  • Utilize Oracle programming, packages, stored procedures, functions, cursors, and triggers in PL/SQL
  • Data management including data modeling, metadata, data analysis, and data mapping
  • Comprehend and modify the Application Configuration as required
  • Create and perform testing plans, cases, and scripts
  • Gather information, create design documentation, and perform impact analysis for application changes
  • Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks


  • BS in computer science or relative experience
  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience in the field of application software development; architecture, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of various systems
  • Knowledge of Oracle Applications, Oracle forms, reports, and interface development
  • Possess expert knowledge of using SQL and PL/SQL programming, developing, complex code units, and database triggers—and using the latest features to optimize performance
  • Experience with Oracle Applications Upgrade is preferred
  • Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is a must
  • Good oral and written communication skills are a must
  • Ability to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly
