New Features Added to MathOptimizer Professional
July 8, 2005--MathOptimizer Professional, an advanced solver suite
for nonlinear
(global and local) optimization, now offers improved solver functionality,
extended documentation, and broader compiler platform support.
In addition to more than doubling the number of supported Windows
compilers, this new update to MathOptimizer Professional adds
support for several Linux platforms. Currently supported compiler
platforms include the following:
- For Windows users: Borland C/C++, Compaq Visual Fortran, Microsoft
Visual C/C++, Intel Fortran, Lahey Fortran 95, and Salford Fortran 95
- For Linux users: Lahey Fortran 95 and g77
Several of these compilers are available for free, for personal use only.
Support for additional platforms and compilers can be arranged upon
request from prospective users.
The current standard delivery of MathOptimizer Professional enables users
to solve models with up to 1,000 variables and 1,000 constraints. Support
for larger model configurations is also available upon request from the
developers.
