Zdeněk Buk works as an assistant professor and researcher in computational intelligence in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague. He currently teaches courses on computer architectures, programming in Java and C, and theory of programming languages. His research focuses mainly on artificial neural networks, evolutionary techniques, and applications in data mining.
Buk has been a Mathematica user since 2000. He uses Mathematica and the Wolfram Language for research, prototyping, data processing, reporting, and teaching courses on neural networks, programming language theory, and student projects.
