Text meeting the need for a compact introduction to Mathematica for students enrolled in various standard mathematics courses using Mathematica. Presents concepts in an order closely following a standard mathematics curriculum, rather than along the features of the software. Provides a brief introduction to those aspects of the program most usefulto students. Includes a brief introduction to Versions 3 and 4, followed by discussions of functions and graphs, algebra, calculus, multivariate calculus, and linear algebra.
