MATHEMATICA ON THE ROAD

Wolfram Research will be at University College Dublin on
4 December!

A one-hour presentation and a two-hour training session will take place in Room SCN 1.25, O'Brien Centre for Science (North), University College Dublin, Belfield, Dublin.

Students, researchers and teaching faculty are welcome to join. Please register if you are interested!

"Wolfram Technology—For Teaching, Education and Research" Presentation
11:00–12:00

This talk will demonstrate how the Wolfram Language and its platforms can assist in teaching and learning within the educational system by enhancing existing methods. Further information will be provided on other technologies that may be of use and additional resources that may help you in your exploration of the Wolfram Language.

"Hands-on Start to Mathematica" Training
12:00–14:00

This interactive hands-on training workshop will help you get started with Mathematica and the Wolfram Language. As this is an introductory course, this session is specifically designed for people who are not currently Mathematica users or have not used the software for some time. Please make sure to bring your own laptop with Mathematica installed.

About the Presenters

Mark Braithwaite

Mark Braithwaite is a technical specialist and a primary instructor of Wolfram technologies for Wolfram Research Europe. He also teaches frequent classes on Mathematica and programming in the Wolfram Language. He uses the Wolfram Language daily as a development tool for company and customer applications. He is also the author of several Wolfram U courses and gives talks and technical demonstrations on applications of the Wolfram Language in machine learning, AI and data science.

Paul Barnett

Paul Barnett is the key account development manager of Wolfram Research Europe and is looking after Mathematica licenses at your university.
