Robert Nachbar
Robert Nachbar is a senior project director with Wolfram Solutions, the consulting arm of Wolfram Research, where he both leads technical teams and develops custom applications for clients with Wolfram technologies. He is also an instructor/mentor at the Wolfram Summer School and a frequent presenter at Wolfram Technology Conferences.
Prior to joining Wolfram Solutions in 2014, Robert was a researcher in the pharmaceutical industry. He began using Mathematica in 1989 for drug design and data analysis. Since then he has used Wolfram Technologies for genetic programming, compartmental modeling (chemical kinetics, viral dynamics, pharmacokinetics and epidemiology), patent analysis and clinical research. He received the Wolfram Innovator Award in 2012.
Robert’s research and computational interests include chemistry, biology, discrete mathematics, optimization, simulation and interactive visualization. He also uses the Wolfram Language for genealogy, surveying and cartography, carpentry projects and teaching.
