Follow Deep Space Probes
Deep space probes include any artificial object launched into space, beyond the confines of Earth orbit. They vary from scientific instrument packages to rocket debris to test payloads. One example test payload was the Falcon Heavy Demonstration Mission, in which Elon Musk's company SpaceX tested the launch capacity of its Falcon Heavy launch platform. The test payload in this case was a Tesla Roadster mounted to a rocket engine that burned until it ran out of fuel. The resulting orbit can be explored in the following example.
Since the positions of the Roadster and the planets are known, it is possible to determine the distance between the Roadster and Mars as a function of time.
