Compare Nutrition Content of Different Foods
Consuming appropriate amounts of essential vitamins, minerals and macronutrients is key to a healthy diet. Anemia, the condition of having a low red blood cell count, is often caused by a lack of iron in the diet. Consuming foods high in iron, along with foods high in vitamin C, which aids the body in absorbing the iron, helps spur the production of red blood cells.
