Analyze the Popularity of Names
The Wolfram Language provides historical popularity data about more than 100,000 "GivenName" entities, representing popular given names throughout United States history.
The "Fraction" property returns the fraction of all births and other Social Security Administration registrations a given name accounted for in a particular year. Some names show a fairly steady trend over time.
Note that while "Fraction" may decline steeply for a certain name, its overall rank may still remain quite high due to increased diversity in the pool of given names.
Other names may demonstrate some correlation with the popularity of certain popular works of art.
Using an implicit entity class, it is possible find the most popular new male and female names.
