Compare Forces and Casualties in Military Conflicts

"MilitaryConflict" entities provide access to detailed data about locations, troop strengths and casualties for more than 13,000 wars, battles and other engagements. With this data, you can visualize flows of troops, casualties and areas controlled by combatants over the course of a given conflict.

For a given conflict, data is returned in lists that correspond to the countries or other participants listed in the "MainActors" property.

You can write a function that retrieves and plots casualties accumulated by each main participant across all the battles in a given major conflict.

Using a different property, you can show the relative size of forces committed per battle by each side.

By accessing historical maps for participating nations, you can also plot the amount of land gained and lost by each side over the course of the conflict.
