Find the Largest Historical Countries in a Year

The Wolfram Language contains historical polygons describing the extent of thousands of "HistoricalCountry" entities. This data can be used to visualize a given country at a single point in time, chart the expansion and contraction of a given civilization or find the largest countries in a given year or other period of time.

Using Dated, plot the extent of the Roman Empire in the year 0.

Use GeoArea to find the area for a specific year or for all years for which polygons are available.

Using entity classes of countries with polygons in a given year, find the 10 largest countries and plot them.
